The experience

The Flying Frenchman departs The Westin at Frenchman's Reef in St. Thomas and sails to the quieter island of St. John, where you'll dock steps from Cruz Bay. Once ashore, you have time to wander the shops, bars and restaurants on your own: lunch and any food or drinks you want are at your own cost, so you control what you spend and where you eat. The pace is leisurely. This is not a rushed itinerary.

After exploring Cruz Bay, you sail to Honeymoon Beach for snorkeling. Snorkel equipment is provided, and you have beach time to use it at your own pace. Once back aboard, the full open bar opens for the return voyage to St. Thomas: a perk that kicks in after the water activity, so you can relax on deck with a drink as the islands recede. Lite bites are included throughout the day.

The whole experience runs seven hours from departure to return. A live guide in English is aboard. Bring a government-issued ID if you plan to use the bar, and bring cash or cards for any shopping or meals you want in Cruz Bay. The boat does not hold those purchases for you.
