The experience

The day starts with your hotel pickup and moves through Dubai's contrasts. You'll see Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building at 830 meters, and photograph the Burj Al Arab on its artificial island 280 meters offshore, designed to resemble a ship's sail. Palm Jumeirah, the tree-shaped artificial island, gives you time to walk the boardwalk and take in views of the Dubai coastline. The tour includes entry to Dubai Mall, one of the world's largest shopping destinations, where you can watch the choreographed Dubai Fountain and browse shops and restaurants.

The Gold and Spice Souks in Deira are the oldest parts of the itinerary. Both markets sit adjacent to each other on Baniyas Street in Al Ras, and the tour includes entry to both. You'll also visit Dubai Museum, housed in the Al Fahidi Fort built in 1787, the oldest existing building in Dubai. The museum shows the traditional way of life in the emirate before the modern development. Additional stops include the Marina Walk, Souk Madinat Jumeirah, and the Abra Boat Service, which gives you a traditional water crossing.

The tour runs 10 hours and covers photo points at several landmarks (Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, and the Dubai Aquarium) plus drive-bys of Box Park, the Water Canal, Qasr Al Jumeirah, and Dubai Frame. Bottled water is provided throughout. The Burj Khalifa Light Show and Dubai Fountain Show are included subject to availability. All areas are wheelchair accessible, and the tour suits all fitness levels.
