The tour picks you up from your Dubai hotel around 2:30pm and heads toward the red sand desert on the Hatta Oman road. Once there, the 4x4 LandCruiser tackles the dunes in a series of climbs and descents. The dune bashing itself is the core of the afternoon, with a stop halfway through for photos. You'll feel the vehicle work the terrain. It's the physical centerpiece before the evening settles into entertainment and food.

At the desert camp, you transition from the drive to stationary activities. A short camel ride comes first, then tea and coffee in the traditional welcome.
