The day starts with pickup from your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle and a drive to the Lehbab Red Arabian Desert. Once there, a professional driver takes you dune bashing across the golden dunes. The vehicle does the work while you sit back and feel the terrain shift beneath you. The sunset photoshoot happens during this stretch, so the light is already turning orange and pink by the time you stop. After the dunes, you move to the quad bike: 30 minutes of riding on your own across the desert floor, which is the part where you're in control of the machine and the pace.

At camp, the evening shifts into a different rhythm. You can ride a camel for photos and videos, try sandboarding, or sit with sheesha (flavored tobacco smoking).
