The Experience

You meet at the marina and walk 100 meters to the beach to start. The instructor briefs you on the flyboard controls, you put on a lifejacket, and you wade into the water. The board is powered by a jet ski towing you, and the instructor manages the throttle from the water, talking to you through the helmet's hearing system and coaching you through the moves—takeoffs, dives, and the aquatic figures that make flyboarding different from anything else on the water. You're positioned 25–30 meters offshore in water deep enough that a fall won't hurt, which is why people watching from the beach can see the whole thing without the risk of shallow water.

The certified instructor is trained in the discipline's birthplace—the south of France, where the flyboard was invented in 2011—so the coaching is built on real technique, not improvisation. The soft helmet and hearing system mean you're not shouting across the water; the instructor's voice is clear, and you can ask questions mid-session. A lifejacket and helmet are both included, along with the use of a locker, changing room, and open shower at the marina afterward.

Bring your original Emirates ID or passport (physical document required), and plan to arrive 20 minutes before your start time. The session runs 30 minutes.
