The experience

The Land Cruiser picks you up from your Dubai or Sharjah hotel 15–30 minutes after the driver calls. The route cuts through scenic desert and city views on the way to the camp, where dune bashing takes 30 minutes of the evening. Once at the camp, you move between activities: sandboarding on the dunes, a camel ride, henna painting for women, and sunset photography in the middle of the desert. Shisha smoke fills a corner of the camp while tea, coffee, soft drinks and water stay unlimited.

The shows run through the evening: belly dance, two fire performances, a Tanoura spinning skirt show and an Ayala traditional performance. A live barbecue dinner buffet runs alongside, so you eat when you want rather than on a fixed schedule. The driver drops you back at your hotel or the original pickup point once the evening winds down.

The vehicles are air-conditioned 4x4s with professional drivers. Wheelchair access is available, and infants can sit on an adult's lap or use a specialized infant seat. The tour is not suitable for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular conditions that limit physical exertion.
