The experience

The day starts with hotel pick-up in Dubai and a 60–90 minute drive to the desert. Once you reach the Al Lahbab area, the dune bashing begins: a 25–30 minute ride across the biggest dunes in the region in a 4WD Land Cruiser. The vehicle does the work. You feel the momentum and the red sand rolling beneath you.

After the driving, you spend 2.5 to 3 hours at the Bedouin camp. This is where the pace shifts. You sit in a traditionally decorated tent, sip aromatic coffee and tea, and watch the sun drop over the desert. A one-minute camel ride happens here, and a henna artist applies a small design to your hands while you rest. The camp provides a traditional Arabic outfit for photographs: robes for men and women both.

Entertainment runs through the evening: a belly dance performance, a Tanoura show (spinning skirts and live music), and a fire show.
