The Experience

You leave the city behind in a 4x4 SUV, watching the Burj Khalifa and the glass towers shrink in the rear window. Then the pavement ends. The evening desert safari takes you straight into the Red Dunes—25 to 30 minutes of dune bashing that feels less like a drive and more like the vehicle is learning to dance. Your driver handles the angles; you hold on and watch the light change.
