Your afternoon begins with a pickup from your hotel in a 4x4 vehicle between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. The drive takes you into the golden sands where the dune bashing starts: 25 to 30 minutes of the vehicle climbing and dropping over the desert terrain while you watch the light change. You'll stop to photograph the sunset over the skyline, then move on to the camel ride and sandboarding before heading to the Bedouin camp.

At the camp, the evening unfolds around the BBQ. You get a welcome of tea or coffee with luqemat, then an international buffet with vegetarian and meat options. While you eat, four live shows by professional artists perform: music, dance, and traditional entertainment. Between courses or during the performances, you can get a henna tattoo applied or wear traditional Arabic dress for photographs.

The whole experience runs about six hours from pickup to drop-off.
