The experience

Your afternoon starts with pickup from your location in a shared 4x4, followed by a 45-minute drive to the desert. At a rest stop along the way, you have the option to try quad bikes or dune buggies for an extra cost if you want to drive the dunes yourself before the main event. The core of the experience is a 30–40 minute dune bashing session where the driver navigates the sand dunes while you experience the adrenaline of the ride. This is when you'll also get scenic sunset photography and a chance to try sandboarding on the dunes.

Once the dune bashing ends, you're driven to a traditional desert camp where a guide allocates your table. The camp activities include a camel ride, henna painting on your hands, sheesha smoking in a designated area, and the chance to wear traditional dress for photographs. Arabic coffee and dates arrive as welcome drinks. Dinner is a BBQ buffet with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the evening wraps with live entertainment: belly dance, Tanura (a spinning skirt performance), and a fire show. The shared 4x4 then returns you to your starting location.

The entire outing is arranged: transport, timing, camp entry and dinner are all included, so you arrive at your hotel without having coordinated pickups, bookings or meal logistics yourself. If you're arriving in the evening or have a free afternoon and want to see the desert without renting a car, this removes the planning.
