The experience

The tour starts with hotel pickup in a air-conditioned vehicle and heads into the desert where a professional guide drives across the golden dunes in a 4x4. The ride itself is the first event, fast and uneven enough to feel like a roller coaster. Once at the campsite, you ride a camel, try sandboarding on the slopes, and watch the sun drop behind the horizon. The guide speaks English throughout.

Dinner is an international buffet with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, grilled meat, and desserts, served at the camp under the open sky. While you eat, live performers take the stage: Egyptian Tanoura dancers in spinning skirts, belly dancers, and a fire show that runs after dark. The shisha lounge is open for those who smoke. Women can get henna tattoos applied by hand at the campsite.

Unlimited water, tea, coffee and soft drinks flow throughout the evening.
