The experience

The tour picks you up from any Dubai or Abu Dhabi hotel, the airport, or a port terminal and moves through the city in private, air-conditioned transport with a guide who knows the landmarks and their stories. Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is the first major stop: one of the world's largest, holding up to 41,000 worshippers. You'll walk through its courtyards and halls to see the domes, minarets, intricate mosaics, stained-glass windows, and ornate chandeliers, and learn how the mosque represents religious tolerance and respect across faiths.

From there, you stroll the Abu Dhabi Corniche with the sea on one side and downtown landmarks on the other, then arrive at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental for the optional gold-flake cappuccino and cake: a signature moment on this tour. Qasr Al Watan, the Presidential Palace, is a photo stop or optional paid entry depending on your choice. You'll also pass Etihad Towers (the five-tower complex featured in the Furious 7 car chase), spend free time at Yas Mall for lunch or shopping, and walk through Heritage Village to see traditional Bedouin life, a souk, craft workshops, and a spice shop. The Dates Market follows, where you can browse over 100 varieties of fresh dates.

The route includes photo stops at Louvre Abu Dhabi, Ferrari World, and passes through Saadiyat Island, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. You'll also drive past Qasr Al Hosn, Abu Dhabi's oldest stone building, and see the Formula One racing tracks and Abrahamic Family House. Drop-off returns you to your starting point by the end of the day.

If you pick the coffee option, it's served at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental as part of your tour.

Can I go inside Qasr Al Watan and the Louvre, or are they just photo stops?

Both Qasr Al Watan (the Presidential Palace) and Louvre Abu Dhabi are photo stops included in the tour. Entry to either one costs extra and is optional. You decide at the time whether to pay and go inside or stay outside for photos.
