The experience
The tour starts with a cruise along Grace Bay Beach on the way out to the outer cays, passing a Soviet shipwreck that broke loose during a hurricane. From there you head to Iguana Island (the largest iguana reserve in the area), where a stop is optional. Many travelers skip it to spend more time in the water or on the beach. The route then takes you to Half Moon Bay, a three-quarter-mile stretch of sand near the uninhabited islands of Little Water Cay, where the crew serves rum punch made from a local recipe, beer, conch salad and light snacks.
Snorkeling happens at Fort George, an uninhabited island with access to one of the world's largest reef systems. All gear is provided, and you can jump from the board or use the slide from the catamaran's second deck to cool off between dives. The colorful fish and coral are the draw here, and the reef is rarely crowded because the boat reaches it by private charter. Back on the Island Queen, the sundeck and second-level seating let you tan or take in the views while the crew handles the route.
The barbecue happens on the beach (the crew cooks while you're still in the water or on the sand), and the meal and drinks are part of the booking. Because the tour is fully customizable, you can adjust the stops, timing and activities to fit what you want that day. Pickup is included, and the boat accommodates the group size you book.

Is this one for you?The full 7 hours means a full day on the water with multiple stops and a beach meal, so it suits travelers who want to spend most of the day afloat and don't mind a mix of cruising, swimming and sitting. If you prefer a shorter outing or mostly want to stay on the boat, a half-day charter might fit better.
