The experience
The day starts with hotel pickup around 08:00, followed by a transfer to the marina where you arrive by 09:30. After a safety briefing and equipment setup, the boat departs at 10:00 for the first dive. You descend to depths of 5–12 meters for approximately 20 minutes in a small guided group, while others on the boat relax, swim, or sunbathe. The structure gives you time to adjust and build confidence before the second dive.
Lunch (schnitzel and pasta) is served onboard between the two dives, so you stay on the water and have a natural break to process what you've learned. The second guided dive follows the same format: small group, same depth range, time to practice what the instructors showed you. Between dives and after the second one, you have free time to swim or rest on deck. The boat returns to harbor in the late afternoon, and you're transferred back to your hotel.
Full diving equipment is provided, including a wetsuit if you need one, tank, mask, fins, and regulator. Certified instructors lead both dives and handle the safety briefing and basic training before you enter the water. The activity is designed around beginners with no prior experience. The two dives instead of one give you more underwater time to settle in and actually enjoy it rather than rush through a single dive.

Is there time to relax or swim on the boat?
Yes. While one group is diving, others can swim or sunbathe on deck. There's also free time between and after the dives, so the day is not back-to-back diving. It's structured to let you relax and take in the experience.
