The experience

The boat leaves from Alanya's harbor and picks you up at your hotel beforehand, so you don't need to arrange transport or find the dock yourself. Once onboard, a professional guide and instructor walks you through the gear, the signals you'll use underwater, and what to expect at the dive sites. The water around Alanya holds coral reef formations and schools of colorful fish. You'll see them on two separate dives during the day, with time on the surface between dives to rest and eat.

Lunch is served onboard after the first dive: a meal that breaks up the day and gives your body time to decompress before the second descent. The guide stays with you throughout both dives, watching your air supply and your comfort. If you've never dived before, the instruction happens in the water at the shallower sites. If you're already certified, deeper spots and more challenging terrain are available. Swimming and snorkeling fill the gaps between dives for anyone who wants to stay in the water without the tank.
