The experience

You get picked up from your hotel in Alanya and driven to the boat, where a certified instructor briefs you on the dive plan and safety procedures. After gearing up (wetsuits, mask, snorkel, fins and tank), you head out on the water to the first dive site. The boat ride itself shows you the Alanya coastline, and once you reach the site, you descend with your guide into the Mediterranean to explore underwater canyons and watch fish move through their habitat. The depth and pace are set for your experience level, whether this is your first time or you've logged dives before.

Between the morning and afternoon dives, you surface, rest on the boat and eat lunch. The second dive follows the same structure: guided descent, time underwater exploring a different location, and a return to the boat. Throughout both dives, your instructor stays with you and watches for any sign you need to adjust depth, pace or air consumption. All the technical work (managing buoyancy, monitoring your tank, navigating the site) happens under their eye.

The day ends when the boat returns to shore and you're driven back to your hotel. You'll have used all your own scuba gear, eaten a meal, and spent roughly eight hours on the water with two separate underwater sessions. No diving certification is required beforehand.
