The Experience

The day starts with hotel pickup and a drive inland toward the Taurus Mountains, leaving the resort strip behind. Your first stop is the Roman Aquaducts, where you'll take photos and get brief context before heading to Seleukia Ancient City. From there, you'll visit a traditional village house and taste gözleme—the thin Turkish flatbread cooked fresh—so you're eating what locals eat, not what tourists are served. The jeep then climbs toward Oymapınar Dam, where you stop for 15 to 30 minutes to photograph Green Canyon and the emerald water of Green Lake below.

Lunch happens at Green Lake itself, a meal included in the tour price, and you'll have time to swim afterward if you want to cool off. The afternoon takes you through another old village before reaching Manavgat Waterfall, where the water drops into a pool surrounded by rock. The route back to your hotel follows the same off-road tracks, so you're seeing the landscape twice—once on the way in when everything is new, and again when you know what's coming. The whole day runs about seven hours from pickup to drop-off.

At checkout, you'll decide whether to add a boat trip on Green Lake. Without it, you get the jeep safari, the waterfall and the swimming stop. With it, you get the boat as well—the same lake from the water instead of just from the shore.
