The experience

You meet your instructor at the start and go through a short safety briefing and basic riding instructions: no prior experience needed. Then you head toward the beach with your horse, riding along the sand and into the shallow waters of the Aegean. The water is calm enough to ride through, and the instructor stays with you the whole time, so you can focus on the moment: the horse moving beneath you, the sea around you, the light on the water.

The activity lasts about an hour. You choose between a morning departure or a sunset ride, which shifts the whole experience: same route, different sky. Either way, you're riding, not watching. The instructor provides guidance throughout, but you're the one holding the reins and feeling the horse respond to what you do. Bring a camera if you want photos. Souvenir shots are available to purchase afterward.
