The experience

Two hours on horseback through Cappadocia's most distinctive valleys. You start in Rose Valley, riding past fairy chimneys of different sizes and the natural stone structures carved into the rock face. The guide leads you safely along the ancient trails without stopping to break the rhythm of the ride. The landscape shifts as you move into Red Valley, where volcanic rock formations turn rust-colored in the light: no stops here either, just the ride through the valley itself.

A short halt comes at the Cross Church, where you have 15 minutes to dismount and look at the carved rock architecture up close or take photos. After that, the ride continues back. The whole outing runs 2 hours, which leaves the rest of your day open. Pickup is arranged for you, and a guide rides with the group speaking English or Turkish. Helmets are provided, and children can ride from age 5 onward.
