The Experience

The day starts with whitewater rafting on the Koprulu Canyon River — 15 kilometers of water that takes roughly 2 to 2.5 hours to run. After you finish, there is 15 to 30 minutes to swim if you want it. The canyon itself is the draw here: the water moves through a landscape that most people only see in photographs, and the rafting is the way to move through it without hiking or driving. A guide handles the technical parts; you paddle and steer.

Lunch comes at Rapido Restaurant once the rafting is done. After you eat, the quad safari starts — about an hour riding an ATV through a park course. The zipline follows that, a 5- to 10-minute descent that closes out the physical part of the day. The order of the three activities can shift depending on how the schedule falls, and there is downtime built in for pickups and driving between sites. The whole thing runs roughly 8 hours from hotel to hotel.

A professional guide leads the group and speaks English or Russian. Hotel pickup is included, as are all safety equipment, insurance and lunch. Children aged 7 and up can do all three activities; infants and younger children can ride along but do not participate. The activities are not recommended for anyone with spinal injuries, cardiovascular concerns or pregnancy.
