Step-by-step itinerary
Rafting and zipline adventure
- Hotel pick-up
- 7-hour rafting, canyoning, zipline
- Hotel drop-off
The experience
The day starts with hotel pickup between 8:30 and 9:00 am, then you head to Koprulu Canyon for seven hours of activity. You'll raft through the canyon's turquoise water with a professional guide, then move into canyoning if you choose that option: climbing, jumping and swimming through the canyon itself. The zipline crosses between the high cliffs, and somewhere in the canyon you'll pass the 2,000-year-old Roman bridge that spans the water below. Lunch is included partway through, so the day holds together without stopping to find food.
What you're operating is the equipment: helmet, life jacket, and your own body moving through water and across the canyon. The guide handles safety and timing, but you're the one swimming, rafting and ziplining, not watching someone else do it. Water shoes make the scrambling easier and safer. If you don't have a pair, you can rent them there. The activity runs seven hours of actual time in the canyon, plus transfers to and from your hotel, so plan for a full morning and afternoon.
You'll need at least moderate fitness to handle the swimming, climbing and physical demands of canyoning. The minimum age is 14. Bring water and a towel. The guide and the canyon handle the rest. Hotel drop-off happens after the activity ends, so you return to your accommodation without arranging a second ride.

Is this one for you?You operate the raft, the zipline and your own movement through the canyon. This is not a guided sightseeing trip where you sit and watch. Choose this if you want to be in the water and moving, not observing from a vehicle or a platform. The seven-hour activity and full-day commitment suit travelers with a morning and afternoon free and the fitness to handle swimming and climbing.
