The Experience

The route covers approximately 14 km of river, starting with an 85 km drive from Antalya to Köprülü Canyon. Once you arrive, guides brief you on the zone and the day ahead, then you put on a life jacket and select your boots. The first part of the paddle moves against the current to get positioned, then the raft heads downstream. This is where you're doing the work — drawing oars, reading the water, and keeping rhythm with the group.

Around midday you beach the raft for lunch at a riverside restaurant set back in the trees. The meal is open-buffet cold appetizers and salads, with grilled trout or chicken as the main course. After eating, you get back on the water for about 3 km more, then stop for a swimming break near a small waterfall. Those who want can walk to the waterfall for photographs while others stay in the water or rest. The guides organize water games if the group is up for it.

The final stretch is the Bady rafting track — faster water where you use life jackets to stay secure while navigating the current. There are animations and moments built into this section as you move toward the end point. Once you reach it, the paddle ends at 13 km total. You change into dry clothes in the dressing rooms, then the air-conditioned vehicle takes you back to Antalya. The whole day runs about 8 hours from pickup to return.
