The experience
Cappadocia's highlights scatter across valleys, underground passages and hilltop vistas that take days to piece together on your own. This 3-day tour bundles them into one route: the Red Tour covers Uchisar Castle and the hikes through Love Valley and Paşabağ, stopping in Avanos for lunch and a pottery workshop where you can try the craft yourself. The Green Tour adds Göreme's panorama (a viewpoint 2 km from town where Erciyes Mountain and Pigeon Valley spread out in front of you), then descends into Kaymakli Underground City, a Roman-era settlement carved into volcanic stone with frescoes and dining halls still visible inside. The Blue Tour explores Soğanlı Valley, a quieter stretch of rock-cut churches with old frescoes and traditional handmade dolls, and circles back through Pigeon Valley, where thousands of pigeon houses carved into the rocks centuries ago line the walking trails.
Hotel pickup is included, so you start each morning from your accommodation without arranging separate transport. Your guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Chinese depending on which option you book, and their explanations anchor each site: turning a rock formation into a story about how wind and erosion shaped it over millions of years, or a monastery into an account of how monks lived and worshipped inside the stone. Entrance fees and meals are built into the price, so you're not hunting for ticket booths or deciding where to eat between stops.
The tour operates as either a group departure or a private booking. Group tours run on a fixed schedule with other travelers. Private tours let you set the pace with your own guide and vehicle. Both versions follow the same three-day route and include the same sites and meals.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Chinese.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
What exactly is Kaymakli Underground City and why is it worth a full stop on the tour?
Kaymakli Underground City is a Roman-era archaeological site carved into volcanic stone beneath the Kaymaklı Citadel, about 19 km from Nevşehir. The site has survived since it first opened to tourism in 1964 and contains bath structures, public buildings and well-preserved mosaic floors that show how people lived in ancient Cappadocia. Visitors walk through the caves and dining halls to see the frescoes and mosaics still embedded in the rock.
Do I walk a lot on this tour, or is it mostly driving between sites?
The tour includes hiking in several valleys: Love Valley, Paşabağ and Pigeon Valley all have walking trails through the fairy chimneys and rock formations. The Green Tour's panorama stop is a viewpoint where you can sit, but Soğanlı Valley on the Blue Tour is known for its hiking routes. You'll also walk through Kaymakli Underground City and spend time in Avanos town by the river. Moderate physical fitness is recommended for the full three days.
Can I try the pottery workshop in Avanos, or is it just a visit?
The Red Tour stops in Avanos for lunch and includes time at a ceramics workshop where you can experience pottery making yourself. It's an active stop, not just a demonstration.
What's included in the price, and what would I need to pay extra for?
Museum and attraction entrance fees, meals and guide services are all included. Hotel pickup is included in every option. You don't pay separately for the sites or meals during the tour.
Is this a group tour or can I book it privately?
You can choose either a group departure, where you travel with other tourists, or a private tour with your own guide and vehicle. Both follow the same 3-day route and visit the same attractions.
