Three islands, one private boat, reefs you can actually see

Snorkel three islands in the Gulf of Thailand (Koh Madsum, Koh Tan and Koh Rap) on a private longtail boat for up to 10 guests. The boat is yours alone, so you set the pace at each stop and the group stays small enough to move between sites without a crowd. Snorkel gear, life jacket and water are included. Optional add-ons at checkout let you add lunch and kayaking or arrange pickup from your Koh Samui hotel.

The experience

A private longtail boat means you're not sharing the vessel or the reefs with thirty other people. The boat holds up to 10, and you control the itinerary: how long you stay at Koh Madsum to snorkel and meet the island's pigs, when you move to Koh Tan, and whether you linger at Koh Rap. Snorkel equipment, life jacket and bottled water come with the booking. The boat carries full insurance.

The three stops are spread across the Gulf, so you're moving between islands rather than sitting in one spot. Koh Madsum is known for the pigs that wade into the shallows. Koh Tan and Koh Rap both have reefs close enough to reach by swimming from the boat. The whole outing runs about 5 hours. If you book the transfer option, pickup happens from anywhere in Koh Samui and the boat departs from there, so you don't arrange separate transport to the pier.

At checkout, you choose whether to add lunch, kayaking, or both, or book without any add-ons. The transfer from your Koh Samui location is optional too, so you can arrange your own way to the boat if you prefer. Infants sit on an adult's lap. The boat suits all fitness levels.

Is this one for you?Book this if your group is under 10 and you want to move at your own pace between islands without waiting for a larger tour to shuffle people on and off the boat. The small size also means you're not competing for space on the reefs or at the beach stops.
