The experience
The boats run daily regardless of season, heading out either to nearby reefs or to Koh Rang National Park, where the water stays clear and the coral is protected. You get three different snorkeling spots in a single trip, so you are not anchored to one reef for the whole day. The boat has plenty of space, making it comfortable whether you are joining others or traveling as a group, and families can book different activities on the same boat: some snorkel while others take a freedive or PADI course.
A live guide leads the snorkeling in English, French, Thai or Dutch, and all equipment is provided. The day includes lunch, snacks, bottled water and coffee or tea. You bring nothing except a towel and sunscreen. Pickup from your Ko Kut accommodation is arranged, and children from age 10 can join. If your trip goes to Koh Rang National Park, a park fee is payable on the day.
