Monsoon Valley Hua Hin vineyard tour and wine tasting
Taste wines grown in Thailand's tropical climate at a working vineyard in the hills above Hua Hin.
A private transfer takes you from Hua Hin or Pranburi/ChaAm to Monsoon Valley Vineyard in the Thai countryside west of town, where you visit Huay Mongkol Temple first, then tour the vineyard and taste three wines. The experience lasts around four hours and includes an air-conditioned vehicle and a live English or Thai-speaking guide. Guests under 20 receive grape juice instead of wine. At the vineyard you join other guests for the tasting and can add a mountain bike rental or order food from the terrace at your own cost.

The experience
Monsoon Valley Vineyard sits in rolling hills just west of Hua Hin, a working wine producer that has won international medals despite Thailand's tropical climate. The day starts with a 30-minute drive through small traditional Thai villages to Huay Mongkol Temple, where you'll see the world's largest Luang Pho Thuat statue before continuing up to the vineyard itself. The route passes through scenic countryside and gives you a sense of how far the vineyards are from the town center.
At the vineyard, a guide walks you through how grapevines grow in a tropical climate, then you taste three different wines on the grounds. The vineyard and restaurant are well-maintained, and the sala terrace overlooks the vineyards and the surrounding hills. If you want to explore further, you can rent a mountain bike for an additional fee and ride through the Monsoon Valley property. Food and drinks beyond the wine tasting are available on the terrace at your own expense.
Your private vehicle and guide handle the transfer, but once at the vineyard you join the main group for the tasting and tour. The whole experience runs about four hours from pickup to return. Guests under 20 receive grape juice in place of wine due to Thai law.

Is this one for you?You choose your departure point (Hua Hin or Pranburi/ChaAm) at checkout, so the transfer starts from whichever town suits your accommodation. The private vehicle gets you to the vineyard, but the tasting itself joins you with other guests, so you're not alone during the experience but you're not in a large group either.
