The day starts at Tiger Cave Temple, where you meet resident monks in the peaceful cave surroundings and decide whether to take on the 1260 steps up the mountain to the giant Buddha statue at the summit. After the temple, you head into Thung Teao Forest National Park to the Emerald Pool, a natural freshwater basin with striking emerald-green water fed by underground springs.
