The experience

The long tail boat reaches Khai Nai island, the first stop, in about 20 minutes from Koh Yao Yai. The water here is shallow enough for kids to wade and feed fish by hand, and the reef holds thousands of tropical fish. You swim and snorkel at Khai Nai, then the boat moves on to Khai Nok island for free time to relax and sunbathe. Lunch, included in the trip, is a picnic on the island.

All snorkeling gear is provided. After a last swim and snorkel at Khai Nui island, the long tail boat takes you back to Koh Yao Yai. November and January sometimes bring dolphin sightings near the islands, though this is never guaranteed.
