The guide meets you at your hotel in Ao Nang, Ao Nammao, Tub Kaek, Klong Muang or Krabi town, then takes you through the mangrove ecosystem where you'll spot local wildlife before reaching Lod Cave. Inside, stalactites and stalagmites frame the space. The cave opens onto water you paddle through. The second stop, Pee Hua Toh Cave, holds the ancient paintings: prehistoric marks left on the rock that the guide explains as you float beneath them.

The half-day option runs about five hours from pickup to drop-off, covering the two main caves and the mangrove paddle. If you book the full day, you get the same morning route, then a lunch break at a local restaurant before the afternoon pushes deeper into hidden lagoons and more mangrove forest.
