The experience

You get a kayak for five hours and paddle it yourself: no guide trailing behind. The operator gives you a briefing and points of interest to visit, then you choose your route. The bay itself is calm and protected, which is why beginners can paddle around it comfortably or make the short trip to Bang Bao village for a walk on the pier and photos. If you have paddling experience, the open sea side along the cliffs is where the views get dramatic. You can head north at your own pace and turn back whenever you want.

Safety gear comes with the kayak: lifejacket and snorkel equipment if you want to bring it along. Wear a rashguard or sunscreen. Five hours on the water means sun exposure. The kayak itself is the only equipment you operate. No motorboat, no tow, just paddling. Single and double kayaks are available, so you can go alone or bring someone with you.
