You must know how to ride a manual transmission bike. Riders aged 14 and up are welcome.

The experience

The day starts with fitting your safety gear (helmet, boots, protective pants and jersey, elbow and knee pads, goggles, gloves and a camelback), then choosing a KLX dirt bike matched to your size and riding style. A safety briefing follows before you head out. From there, the route depends entirely on what you can handle: beginners get scenic trails with teaching moments built in. Advanced riders tackle some of Thailand's best technical terrain. A guide and safety rider stay with you the whole time, both native English speakers who prioritize your safety over speed.

The ride itself runs four to six hours depending on your skill and the trail conditions that day. You'll stop at points of interest, get one-on-one coaching on technique, and break for Thai meals and lunch. The operator tailors every tour to the individual rider or group, so no two days are identical. The bikes are always in top condition and the safety equipment is well maintained. The only hard requirement is that you can ride a manual bike. Moderate fitness helps, and the operator doesn't recommend the tour for travelers with spinal injuries, pregnancy, or cardiovascular concerns.
