The experience

The day starts with pickup from central Chiang Mai and a drive to Sky Hawk Zip Line park, where a safety briefing gets you ready before you clip into the first line. From there, you move through the forest canopy on 18 separate ziplines, each one strung between the park's 32 treetop platforms positioned at heights reaching nearly 2000 meters above sea level. The platforms are connected by 8 treetop staircases, so you climb between runs instead of descending and starting over. The setup keeps momentum going and lets you stay high in the canopy for hours.

Beyond ziplining, the park includes three abseiling areas where you rappel down the face of the forest instead of sliding across it, and two sky bridges you walk across suspended between trees. A professional guide stays with your group throughout, managing the equipment and pacing the day so you move at a speed that works for everyone. All safety gear is provided and fitted before you start.

Around midday, you break at the onsite café for an authentic Thai lunch and water, giving you time to rest before heading back. A shuttle then takes you back to your pickup point in central Chiang Mai or to your hotel, wrapping up the day by early afternoon. The short course covers the core ziplines and abseiling. The full course adds the sky bridges and more lines to the route.
