The Experience
Pickup happens at 8:30 AM from your Arusha hotel. The first stop is Lake Manyara National Park, where a full-day game drive takes you through Acacia and Mahogany forests to watch for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons and blue monkeys — and if the season aligns, flamingos turn the shoreline pink. You'll break for a picnic lunch partway through, then head to your camp for dinner. The second day moves north into the Serengeti, crossing the high farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area before descending into the park's central Seronera area, where the river draws the widest range of wildlife. An afternoon game drive follows lunch. Day three starts with a morning drive in the Serengeti, then you depart for Ngorongoro with a picnic lunch en route.
Ngorongoro Crater is the world's largest collapsed volcanic crater, fourteen kilometers across and ringed by extinct volcanoes. The crater floor holds roughly 30,000 animals and watering holes scattered across it. You descend at dawn on day four for a five-hour game drive where lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos and antelopes are common, along with eagles, vultures, sacred ibis and kori bustards. After lunch at the Hippo Pool, you climb back out and drive two hours to Karatu for the night. The final morning takes you to Tarangire National Park, known for massive baobab trees and some of Africa's largest elephant herds. A half-day game drive covers lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes and zebras before you return to Arusha by around 6 PM.
Your guide drives and narrates throughout. Meals follow the itinerary — breakfast before each game drive, picnic lunches in the parks, dinners at camp. Park fees for non-residents, camping fees and all taxes are included. The 4x4 Land Cruiser is shared with other travelers on the same departure.

The Serengeti's Seronera area is rich in most species the park holds. Ngorongoro Crater's floor shelters lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, rhinos and antelopes, plus eagles, vultures, flamingos and storks. Tarangire is known for large elephant herds, along with lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes and zebras.
How much time do I spend on game drives each day?
Lake Manyara runs a full-day game drive with a lunch break. The Serengeti includes an afternoon drive on day two and a morning drive on day three. Ngorongoro Crater takes five hours on day four. Tarangire is a half-day drive on the final morning. Most days involve six to eight hours in the vehicle across the parks.
What languages does the guide speak?
The guide speaks English, Spanish, Italian, French or another language — you choose which one at booking. The same guide leads the entire five days.
Does the tour include accommodation and meals?
Yes. You stay four nights at campsites (Migombani near Lake Manyara and Karatu, Seronera in the Serengeti, and Simba near Ngorongoro). Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner are included each day according to the itinerary.
What is included in the price?
The tour includes the professional driver-guide, 4x4 Land Cruiser, all meals, park entry fees for non-residents, camping fees, daily game drives and all taxes and VAT. Gratuities are not included.
