Step-by-step itinerary
Beginner scuba course and ocean dives
- Learn scuba basics in swimming pool
- Boat trip to Indian Ocean dive sites
- Complete two open water dives
- Enjoy light lunch with fresh fruits
The experience
The day begins in a swimming pool where you learn the fundamentals of scuba diving before entering open water. An experienced PADI instructor walks you through breathing underwater, equalizing pressure, and handling the gear. Everything you need to know to dive safely. This controlled setting means you can ask questions and practice without the pressure of the ocean around you.
Once you're ready, you board a boat and sail into the Indian Ocean for two open-water dives at separate locations. A dive master guides each descent, pointing out the colorful fish and reef life as you explore. The two sites let you see different parts of the underwater landscape and build confidence between dives. Mineral water is available throughout the day to keep you hydrated.
A light lunch and fresh fruits come between the dives, giving you time to rest and talk through what you've seen. All scuba equipment is provided: tank, wetsuit, weights, regulator, everything you need. The course runs about six hours from start to finish.
