The experience
The tour starts with a scenic drive through the Bernese Alps, moving between two villages that anchor the region's alpine character. Lauterbrunnen comes first: a valley surrounded by 72 waterfalls, with Staubbach Falls as the centerpiece and the Jungfrau peaks framing the view. You walk through the village itself, past wooden chalets and alpine meadows, with time to photograph the landscape and feel the scale of the cliffs rising around you.
Grindelwald follows, positioned at the foot of the Eiger. The stop here is built around the mountain views and the village atmosphere: cozy chalets, peaceful trails and viewpoints that open onto the peaks. A warm drink (coffee or tea) gives you a moment to settle into the setting before the return drive to your hotel. The whole outing runs four hours from pickup to drop-off.
Your guide speaks English, German or Hungarian and travels with you throughout. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and bottled water is provided. Hotel pickup is included, so you don't arrange your own transport to the starting point.
