Step-by-step itinerary
Day trip to Anguilla beach
- Arrive in Anguilla
- Meet staff and transfer to beach
- Relax with beach chairs and umbrella
- Enjoy complimentary lunch
The experience
The day starts on the St. Maarten side: you arrange transport to Marigot Ferry Port, pay the departure tax at the terminal, clear security and board the ferry to Anguilla. The crossing itself is the passage between islands. Once you land, immigration staff process your arrival, and the tour operator's team meets you at the dock for the drive to Meads Bay.
At the beach, you settle into a chair with an umbrella and an attendant assigned to your spot. Lunch arrives with options (burgers, ribs, pizza), and the afternoon is yours to swim, rest or walk the sand. The beach chairs and umbrella service stay complimentary for the full duration. Around late afternoon, the same transport picks you up and returns you to the ferry terminal for the crossing back to St. Maarten, timed so you clear the island before dark.
The ferry fees (thirty dollars each way) and any departure taxes you owe in either territory are paid on site, not included in the booking. The whole day runs about six hours from the time you leave your St. Maarten hotel to the time you return. A valid passport is required for both the ferry and immigration clearance.
