The experience

Your driver meets you at Bandaranayaka International Airport holding a sign with your name, loads your luggage into a private air-conditioned vehicle, and monitors your flight so there's no waiting if you land late. From there, the itinerary is yours to shape. You can follow the driver's recommendations (Sigiriya's rock fortress, Kandy's Temple of the Tooth, Yala's wildlife safaris, the tea plantations around Nuwara Eliya and Ella, or the southern beaches near Mirissa and Hikkaduwa), or chart your own path through off-the-beaten-path villages and waterfalls. The standard package calculates 150 km of travel per day across your total booking length, but you adjust that distance depending on what you want to see and how long you want to stay in each place.

The vehicle comes with WiFi on board, bottled water, fuel, parking and toll fees all covered. Your driver's accommodation and meals are included, so there are no surprise costs beyond entry tickets to national parks and your own hotel stays. The driver speaks English and carries local knowledge about which sites are worth the detour, where to eat well, and how to arrange safaris, train journeys and boat tours if you want to add them. You travel as a private group (whether that's a couple, a family or friends) without sharing the vehicle or the driver's attention.

Choose between a private car for smaller groups or a minivan if you're traveling with more people or extra luggage. Trips run from 4 days to 14 days. You pick the length and the driver adjusts the daily route to fit. Can I change my itinerary once I arrive in Sri Lanka?

Yes. Your driver guide will recommend places based on your interests and available time, and you can adjust the route day by day. The standard package allows 150 km of travel per day, and that distance is flexible depending on where you want to go and how long you want to spend at each stop.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

Your driver monitors your flight and waits at the airport until you arrive, so a late landing doesn't create a problem. You just need to share your flight number when you book.

Does the price include entry to national parks and temples?

No. Entry tickets to attractions like Sigiriya, Yala National Park, or the Temple of the Tooth are separate. Your driver can help you arrange them, but they're not part of the package cost.

What's included in the daily rate?

Fuel, parking, toll fees, the driver's accommodation and meals, WiFi on board, bottled water, and the air-conditioned vehicle itself are all included. Your own hotel stays and activity entry fees are separate.

Can I book a minivan instead of a car?
