The experience

The route is yours to set. After booking, the manager Theekshana Fernandino (known as Prebu) calls to map out where you want to go, whether that's Galle Fort on the southern coast, the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy, Sigiriya Rock Fortress inland, or a combination across multiple regions. You tell him your interests, how many days you have, and what matters most: beaches, temples, wildlife, colonial history, or a mix. He builds the itinerary around your preferences, not a fixed schedule.

The vehicle is air-conditioned and comes with a driver who also serves as your guide, speaking English throughout the journey. Hotel pickup is included, so you don't arrange separate transport to the starting point. The driver handles navigation, parking and all logistics. You sit back and decide the pace. Bottled water and snacks travel with you, and the driver's accommodation and fuel costs are built into the price. Nothing hidden.

At the end of your trip, the driver returns you to your hotel or your next meeting point. The flexibility is the point: whether you're spending four days exploring the cultural triangle or three weeks circling the island, you're not locked into someone else's schedule or someone else's stops.

Can I change my route once the tour starts?

Yes. The itinerary is planned before you depart, but you can adjust it as you go. Tell your driver-guide if you want to skip a stop, linger longer somewhere, or add a detour. He will work with you to fit it into the day.

What's included in the price?

Transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, driver-guide, hotel pickup and return, bottled water, snacks, parking fees, and the driver's accommodation and expenses are all included. Entry fees to temples, forts and attractions are separate.

How do I decide between a car, van or bus?

A car fits up to four passengers; a van holds up to eight; a bus seats larger groups. Choose based on how many people are traveling with you. The manager will recommend the right size when you plan your route.

What's the difference between a 4-day and a 7-day option?

The duration determines how far you can travel and how many regions you can cover. A 4-day trip might focus on one area like the south coast or the cultural triangle. A 7-day trip lets you combine multiple regions, for example, Colombo, the highlands, and the east coast.

Do I need to speak English to book?

Your driver-guide speaks English, so communication during the tour is straightforward. Booking is handled in English as well, and the manager will walk you through the planning call step by step.

What if I want to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress or Galle Fort?

Both are popular stops and can be included in your custom route. Sigiriya is in the central highlands and works well on longer trips. Galle Fort is on the south coast and fits into shorter itineraries. The manager will factor in travel time and your preferences when planning.
