The Experience

You arrive at the dive center and fill out a short registration form, then gear up with a wetsuit, mask, fins and snorkel. Your certified guide gives a safety briefing and explains snorkeling basics and how to behave around marine life—there's time for questions. No previous experience is needed; the group stays small so the guide can watch everyone. You walk to the nearby pier and board the boat for a 10–15 minute ride along the coast to the snorkeling site, passing fishermen's farms where dolphins sometimes appear.

Once at the site, you spend approximately one hour in the water under your guide's supervision, observing turtles in their natural habitat alongside fish, rays, and possibly dolphins. You can bring a personal camera at your own risk and capture the moment. The guide stays with the group the whole time, so if you have questions or need help, they're there. The water and all equipment are included; you don't bring or rent anything separately.

The boat returns to the dive center, and you shower and relax on the terrace. Free photos and videos from the activity are yours to take home. The whole experience runs about two and a half hours from arrival to departure. Wheelchair accessibility is available throughout the center and on the boat; service animals are welcome. Public transportation options are nearby if you don't have a car.
