The Experience

The day starts with pickup from one of three meeting points in central Seville — Calle Trajano, Calle Zaragoza or Calle Rastro — and a drive south to Tarifa, where the ferry departs. The crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar takes less than an hour and the views of both Spanish and Moroccan coastlines frame the journey between Europe and Africa. Once you arrive in northern Morocco, a local Moroccan guide boards the transport to lead the rest of the day.

The guide takes you on a panoramic tour of Tangier's emblematic landmarks before moving into the city center for a walk through the medina. Moroccan lunch happens mid-day, a chance to taste the local cuisine at a proper stop rather than a rushed checkpoint. After eating, the walk continues through the shopping streets that line the medina — you'll have time to browse the hundreds of shops or simply move through the neighborhoods at the group's pace. The visit ends back at the Port of Tangier, where you board the ferry for the return crossing to Tarifa and the drive back to Seville, arriving late at night.
