The experience

The ferry leaves Tarifa in the morning, so you start with pickup from your Cadiz hotel or a meeting point, then transfer to the port. Once across the Strait, your private guide and driver meet you in Tangier and stay with you for the rest of the day. Because it's a private tour, the pace and the stops are yours alone: no shared group, no fixed schedule beyond the ferry times.

The itinerary covers the Kasbah's narrow streets and ancient walls, the Grand Mosque to learn about Arab and Moorish architecture, the Medina's souks and traditional shops, Cap Spartel where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, Perdicaris Park for views over the Strait, and the Hercules Caves with their distinctive rock formations. The return ferry departs in the late afternoon, and your driver meets you at Tarifa port to take you back to your Cadiz accommodation. Entry fees to the Kasbah Museum, Grand Mosque, and Hercules Caves are included. The Nahon Synagogue is also on the route. If you want to visit the American Legation Museum, that entrance fee is optional and paid separately.
