The Experience

Then comes the lunch, and this is where the day shifts. It's not a quick sandwich situation. You get a proper starter of white beans, then the main event: roasted suckling pig, which is what Segovia is actually famous for, cooked in a way that makes you understand why people travel for food. There's a Segovian dessert called Tarta de ponche, and a drink included. You're eating in a local restaurant, not a tourist trap, and the pace is slow enough that you're not rushing back to the coach with your mouth full.
