The Experience

The tour covers the Old Town on foot, starting with the New Bridge—the universal symbol of Ronda and a neoclassical building finished in 1793. From there, the guide takes you through the historic center, explaining the outstanding aspects of Ronda's local history, art and culture. The route is built around what you want to see: some travelers stop at the main church (which has both Gothic and Renaissance sections in one building), others visit the 13th-century Arab baths at the bottom of a slope, and some explore the archaeological museum housed in a 16th- and 17th-century manor. The bullring, built in 1785 and the oldest still in use, is also available as a stop.

Your guide is a certified local who has been working since 1997 and speaks English, Spanish and German. The tour lasts three hours and covers the Old Town completely. Pickup is included. Entrance tickets to individual monuments are not included in the tour price—you buy them directly at each site when you arrive. Some stops are optional, so you can shape the afternoon around what interests you most.

The town is suitable for all fitness levels, though not all monuments are wheelchair accessible. If you have mobility concerns, the guide can advise on which stops work for you. Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller, and public transportation options are nearby if you need them.

What’s included
