The experience
Most charter boats force you to the bow to see anything. This monohull is one of only two of its kind in Estepona's port, and it's built the opposite way: the dining and seating area sits at the stern with views that sweep the entire horizon. You eat, drink, and socialize without ever turning away from the coast or the water. The four-hour duration (double the time of standard tourist trips) gives you room to actually sail instead of rush through a checklist.
If you want to sail, you can. The captain teaches traditional seamanship and hands over the helm so you can steer and learn the maneuvers yourself. No experience needed. On windy days, the engine stays off and the boat moves under sail alone. On flat, calm days, the glassy water becomes the best condition for spotting local dolphins, sea turtles, and sunfish. The captain works a private network with other local skippers to share live dolphin sightings in real time, which means your chances of seeing them are higher than on a random boat.
Spanish tapas arrive mid-sail: local cheeses, cured jamón, traditional tortilla, and bread, paired with an open bar of white wine, cava, beer, and soft drinks. You can anchor for a swim whenever you want, and the boat carries snorkelling gear, a floating mattress, and a paddle board. A Bluetooth speaker plays whatever you bring.

Top questions
What languages is the guide in?
Live guide in English, Spanish and Dutch.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I actually steer the yacht, or do I just watch?
You take the helm if you want to. The captain teaches you traditional sailing maneuvers and hands over the wheel so you can steer the boat yourself. No sailing experience is required.
What are the chances of seeing dolphins on this trip?
The captain coordinates with other local skippers via a private network to share live dolphin sightings, which maximizes your chances. On calm days, the flat water is ideal for spotting dolphins, sea turtles, and sunfish.
Is the food included, or do I pay extra?
Spanish tapas and drinks are included. You get local cheeses, cured ham, traditional tortilla, and bread, plus an open bar of white wine, cava, beer, and soft drinks throughout the four hours.
What happens if there's no wind?
On calm days, the engine runs and the flat, wave-free water is actually perfect for dolphin spotting. The boat always moves. The wind just decides whether you sail or motor.
Can I swim during the trip?
Yes. You can ask the captain to anchor whenever you want for a swim. The boat carries snorkelling equipment, a floating mattress, and a paddle board.
