Sail toward the sunset with dolphins in the water and the Golden Mile slipping past.

A sunset sailing tour on the Marbella coast departing from Puerto Banus in a small group of up to 9 passengers, with a licensed captain, swimming stop (conditions permitting), and cava toast as the sun sets. The boat carries a toilet, Bluetooth speaker for your playlist, life jackets, and snacks; the captain knows this coast by heart and watches for dolphins, which are common here. Minimum 2 passengers required; bad weather reschedules at no cost or offers a full refund.

Step-by-step itinerary

Sunset sailing along Marbella coast

  • Depart from Pantalán 3
  • Welcome and tour explanation
  • Sail along Marbella coast
  • Watch for dolphins
  • Swim in clear waters if allowed
  • Enjoy sunset sailing
  • Toast with cava at sunset
  • Return to Puerto Banus

The Experience

The boat leaves from Pantalán 3 at Puerto Banus — directly across from Patrick's 19th — with a licensed captain and up to 8 other passengers. After a brief welcome and safety rundown, you sail off the Marbella coast toward La Concha, with views of the Golden Mile and, on clear days, the North African coast beyond. The captain knows this water by heart and keeps watch for dolphins, which move through this area regularly (never guaranteed, but part of what makes the evening unpredictable in the best way).

When the sea allows, you stop for a swim in crystal-clear water before the light starts to change. Then the boat turns toward the sunset, and you watch the sky shift from gold to pink while the coast slides behind you. As the sun touches the horizon, the captain pours cava — white or rosé wine, or beer if you prefer — and you toast while sailing back toward Puerto Banus. The whole sail runs about two hours.

The boat has a toilet on board, a Bluetooth speaker so you can play your own music, life jackets for everyone, and light snacks and soft drinks throughout. It's built for small groups and couples rather than crowds, and the team stays close and attentive. If weather turns rough, your departure reschedules at no cost or you get a full refund — no negotiation.
