Mallorca sailing with tapas & drink: 4 hours at sea
Sail, swim and dive on your own terms
A 4-hour sailing activity in Mallorca for small groups of 4 to 12 people, led by a captain who adjusts the route by weather and your preference. You choose whether to help sail or relax on deck, then swim, snorkel in caves, and eat tapas and pizza with beer or wine on the return. The boat is certified for open ocean and carries snorkeling gear, water and soft drinks.
The Experience
Four hours at sea means you get a real half-day away from the shore. Groups stay small—4 to 12 people—so the boat doesn't feel crowded, and the captain reads the weather and picks the destination as you go. You can take the helm and work the sails if you want to, or sit back and let the boat carry you. Either way, you're moving under sail, not motoring, which changes how the coast feels.
Swimming and snorkeling happen at a stop the captain chooses—sometimes a cove, sometimes a sea cave—and the boat carries snorkeling gear so you don't pack it. The water is clear enough that you'll see what's below. On the way back, the crew sets out tapas: varied snacks, pizzas, and beer or wine (2 per person), plus water and soft drinks. It's informal and casual, the kind of meal that tastes better on a boat than it would on land.
The boat is a 10-ton sailing vessel certified to cross oceans, which means it's built solid and doesn't pitch much—seasickness is rare unless you go below deck. Come in your swimsuit under your clothes so you're ready to jump in the moment you reach the stop. The captain speaks English and Spanish, and children from age 1 are welcome aboard, though infants need to sit on an adult's lap.

Can I help sail the boat, or do I just sit and watch?
You choose. The captain welcomes people who want to work the sails and learn how, and equally welcomes people who want to relax on deck the whole time. Either way, you're sailing, not motoring.
What's the swimming and snorkeling like?
The captain picks a stop—often a cove or sea cave—based on the weather and conditions that day. Snorkeling gear is on board, and the water is clear enough to see the seabed. You're free to swim, dive, or stay on the boat.
Is the food a full meal, or just snacks?
It's informal finger food: varied snacks, pizzas, and bread-type items, not a sit-down dinner. You get 2 drinks per person (beer or wine with the meal, plus water and soft drinks throughout the day).
Will I get seasick on a 4-hour sail?
The boat is a 10-ton sailing vessel built solid and certified for open ocean, so it rides smoothly and seasickness is uncommon. It becomes more likely only if you go below deck into the cabin.
What do I need to bring or wear?
Wear your swimsuit under your clothes so you're ready to jump in when you reach the swimming stop. Snorkeling gear is provided. A towel is not included, so bring one if you want to dry off before heading back.
Can young children come on this sail?
Yes, children are welcome from age 1 onward. Infants must sit on an adult's lap. The boat is stable and comfortable, and the captain adjusts the day to the group.
