Alcudia sailing tour: tapas, wine & Cap Formentor coves
Sail, swim and eat without leaving the deck
A 4-hour sailing tour from Alcudia to the coves around Cap Formentor on a small yacht with a maximum of 9 guests, combining time on the water with freshly prepared tapas, Spanish wines and an open bar. You can help sail the boat, snorkel at the coves, or simply sit on deck while the crew handles everything. The guide speaks English, Spanish or German, and children are welcome from age 5.
The Experience
The boat leaves Alcudia at either 11:00 or 16:00, heading north along Mallorca's coast toward Cap Formentor. Once you reach Cala en Gossaba and the surrounding coves, you decide how to spend your time: jump in to snorkel with the provided equipment, swim in the clear water, or stay on the 14-meter yacht with a drink in hand. If you want to be part of the sailing itself, the crew will teach you—otherwise, the peace of being on the water is the whole point.
Tapas come fresh from the galley throughout the trip: prawns, tortilla de patatas, piquant peppers, baguette with arugula and mozzarella, fruit and bacon-wrapped dates. Spanish wines, beer, water and soft drinks flow freely, included in the price. The small group size—never more than 9 people—means no crowding, no schedule pressure, and room to move around the deck or find a quiet corner.
You can book this as a shared sailing or as a private charter. Families with children from age 5 are welcome. The crew includes qualified skippers and instructors, and if you're interested in formal sailing training, you can work toward an SKS certificate or take individual lessons during the trip. Insurance and snorkeling gear are included; bring a towel and sunscreen.

You can do either. The crew will teach you how to help with sailing if you want hands-on time at the helm, or you can relax on deck and let the skippers handle everything—the choice is yours.
What food and drinks are actually included?
Freshly made tapas cooked on board include prawns, tortilla de patatas, piquant peppers, baguette with arugula and mozzarella, fruit and bacon-wrapped dates. Spanish wines, beer, water and soft drinks are all included in the price.
