The Experience
Your driver and guide pick you up from your hotel or chosen location in Lanzarote and head toward Timanfaya National Park, where the landscape shifts to volcanic terrain—no vegetation, layered colors, and the bare rock formations that define the island's interior. The park entrance is included, so you walk the sites without a separate ticket stop.
From there you move to Cueva de los Verdes, a lava tube carved by eruptions from Corona Volcano, located in the municipality of Haría in the island's north. The cave is a volcanic structure, not a carved cavern, and the tour includes entry. Next is Jameos del Agua, also inside a volcanic tunnel, where you see a subterranean salt lake among other chambers. Both caves sit on the same geological feature—the eruption tunnel—so the two stops connect as a single underground landscape.
The day includes a stop in La Galería for a wine tasting in a cellar, included in the tour price. After the three main sites and the tasting, your driver returns you to your starting point.
