Cap Norfeu boat tour from Roses: Glass-bottom views & cave access
Watch the seabed through the hull while the boat navigates hidden coves and sea caves.
A two-hour glass-bottomed boat tour departing from Roses explores Cap de Creus Nature Park and Cap Norfeu, passing dramatic cliffs, small coves, and the underwater world of the seabed at Cala Murtra. The boat enters the Tamariu cave when weather permits, passes the famous El Bulli restaurant site at Cala Montjoi, and visits Cala Jóncols. An audio guide in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, and Russian narrates the route. Dolphins occasionally appear alongside the boat. The tour includes a bar service and restroom on board.

- Admire Bay of Roses
- Pass small coves of Cap de Creus

The experience
The boat leaves from either Roses Centre or Santa Margarita and heads into Cap de Creus Nature Park, where the glass bottom lets you watch the seabed without getting wet. You'll pass Punta Falconera and see the submarine view of Cala Murtra's corals, fish, and starfish as the boat moves through a series of small coves. The route is built around the underwater landscape as much as the cliffs above it.
At Cala Montjoi you'll pass the site of El Bulli, the restaurant that made chef Ferran Adrià famous. The boat then reaches Cap Norfeu, where a distinctive rock formation called "The Cat" rises from the water. If conditions allow, the boat enters the Tamariu cave: a sea cave accessible only by water. The route finishes at Cala Jóncols, and if you're on the water at the right moment, dolphins sometimes swim alongside.
An audio guide plays in your choice of language, so you don't need a separate guide talking over the group. A bar operates on board, and there's a restroom available. The tour works for families and anyone comfortable on a boat. It's suitable for all fitness levels and wheelchair accessible (though not electric wheelchairs).

Top questions
Can children come?
Yes. Ticket types: Child (4 to 11 years); Infant (under 4): free.
What happens if it rains?
It may be canceled due to bad weather. If that happens, you're offered another date or a refund. Free cancellation up to 24 h before the start.
Can I see underwater life without snorkeling or diving on this tour?
Yes. The glass bottom of the boat shows the seabed directly below: corals, fish, and starfish at Cala Murtra are visible from your seat without entering the water.
What is the Tamariu cave and when can we enter it?
The Tamariu cave is a sea cave at Cap Norfeu accessible only by boat. Entry depends on weather conditions. Calmer seas allow the boat to navigate inside, but rough water means you'll see it from outside.
Which departure point should I choose, Roses Centre or Santa Margarita?
Both are available options at checkout. Roses Centre is the main town hub. Santa Margarita is an alternative pickup location. Choose whichever is more convenient to your accommodation.
What languages does the audio guide offer?
The audio guide is available in English, Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, and Russian, so you can listen in your preferred language without a live guide.
