The experience

The boat leaves Port Olímpic, Barcelona's main harbor currently being remodeled for the America's Cup, and sails along the coast toward Barceloneta Beach. You'll see the neighborhood from the water (the old fisherman quarter and the modern W Hotel marking the edge of the beach), and watch Montjuïc mountain rise in the distance. The whole route takes an hour and a half, timed to catch the sunset over the water.

Cava flows throughout the sail. Mineral water is also available. The boat is modern and built for comfort, and the shared format means you're sailing with other travelers rather than alone. Children and infants can come along (infants ride on an adult's lap), and there's no fitness requirement. The boat does the work.
